1998 Andersen Genève Christophorus Columbus "World Time" 18k White Gold Limited Edition of 500 pieces with Box and papers
In celebration of the 500-year anniversary of Christopher Columbus's historic voyage in 1492, Andersen Genève decided to create a limited edition of 500 World Time watches, exclusively available in 18k yellow, white and pink gold or platinum. The movement is based on a Piguet calibre with an in-house developped worldtime system that can be operated through the second crown. The dial of the watch is adorned with a captivating map made of blue Chinese enamel, depicting the Atlantic Ocean, with the continents made in gold and showcasing the route of Columbus's maiden voyage.
The case made in precious metal has a classic design with a stepped bezel and has its back decorated with an astrolabe, a navigation instrument that Columbus used. Beautifully respecting the tradition of timepieces made in Geneva with a very high attention paid to every part of the watch, the Christophorus Columbus worldtime wristwatch is a most captivating and collectible neovintage piece.

All watches are checked and tested by our watchmaker and guaranteed 90 days. During service, pieces and parts could be needed due to age and are always replaced by original signed parts by our watchmaker. If serviced, we offer a 1 year mechanical guarantee.
This mechanical warranty does not cover damages that the buyer might cause. In regards to vintage models, we cannot guarantee waterproofness or time accuracy unless the watch has been serviced and these requests approved by our watchmaker.
All items are carefully packed and shipped via Fedex express couriers such as FedEx Priority. Your shipment is fully insured, please open the parcel in front of your courier to attest any potential damages caused during transportation. If you do not do this, we cannot guarantee the full refund of your order due to transportation damages. Please keep in mind that for shipments outside the EU, Harbor Watches is required to declare the retail value of the order which might be subject to fees and taxes upon arrival in the destination country. Potential taxes and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
We have a no-questions-asked 5-days return policy for European customers and international customers. Insured return is at the cost of the customer and must be made with Fedex Priority. We will process the refund as soon as we receive the item and can confirm that it is in the same condition as it was when it left our office. Please note that withdrawal rights do not apply to limited editions. This is because limited editions are sold exclusively during a specific time frame and cannot be resold after a return or refund. Additionally, pre-orders with a time limit cannot be refunded either before or after the pre-order period has ended.
