A fantastic in unpolished condition, mid-size 37mm stainless steel 1982 Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800 in 18k yellow gold and stainless steel with a gilded dial, tritium applied yellow gold hour markers with matching hands. 

Introduced in 1981 as the mid-size successor to the iconic "Jumbo" Nautilus ref. 3700, the 1982 Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 3800 in 18k yellow gold and stainless steel represents one of the earliest and most collectible executions of the reference. This first-generation example is distinguished by its elegant gilded dial and the highly coveted black date disc, a feature found predominantly on the earliest production watches before Patek Philippe transitioned to white date discs in later years.
