€4.900

A stunning in absolute perfect condition 1970s Jaeger-LeCoultre Tank Hobnail Ultra-Thin in textured finish -Clous de Paris- 18k yellow gold. This example comes with a no-lume -Clous de Paris- gold dial and matching thin no lume hands. The watch is in superb condition, showing only light signs of wear or minor scratches, which are to be expected for a piece of its age.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Tank Hobnail Ultra-Thin Ref. 4427, produced during the 1970s, is a beautiful expression of understated haute horlogerie and the maison’s mastery of elegant dress watches. Crafted entirely in 18k yellow gold, its elongated rectangular tank-shaped case features a finely executed Clous de Paris (hobnail) motif that extends seamlessly across both the bezel and dial, creating a captivating interplay of light and texture. Applied black hour markers and slender baton hands provide a subtle contrast to the richly textured gold surface, enhancing the watch’s refined, architectural aesthetic.

The case bears the Edmond Jaeger hallmark and was manufactured by Croizier George SA (Genève key no. 5), while the movement is signed LeCoultre Co. At its heart beats the hand-wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre P838, celebrated for its ultra-thin construction, reliability, and technical elegance. Discreet yet highly distinctive, the Ref. 4427 perfectly embodies the restrained luxury, timeless design, and exceptional Geneva craftsmanship that define Jaeger-LeCoultre’s finest vintage dress watches.
